Fairfax City Council Candidate Debate
Wednesday, October 17, 2001, 7:00-10:00 pm

Join the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of Marin as they present Fairfax City Council Candidate Debate Night, at the Fairfax Woman's Club. Meet the 6 Fairfax candidates who will be running for the 3 open seats on the Fairfax Town Council: Susan Brandborg, Bernard Del Santo, Frank Egger, Michael J. Ghiringhelli, Jeffery Hellman, and Stephen Shaiken.

All Candidates will have the opportunity to give a brief opening statement. Following, each candidate will be asked to respond to 4 written questions. These questions are:

  • In order of importance, please give your top 3 issues facing Fairfax.
  • Could you give your thoughts on how you view the present Fairfax business community?
  • What do you see as the special qualities of Fairfax and how would you preserve them?
  • What is your vision of plans for the Downtown areas? What changes would you like to work toward?

The final hour will be for community questions and answers. Please bring your questions with you. Time is limited so please, make your questions no more than 1 minute in length.
